Merrill Steel Employees Earn OSHA 10 General Industry Credential through ANC Solutions Group

Arkansas Northeastern College (ANC) recently partnered with Merrill Steel to provide OSHA 10 General Industry training for approximately 25 employees as part of the company’s ongoing commitment to workplace safety and employee development.

The training was conducted at the ANC Center for Allied Technologies and was delivered across approximately three sections to accommodate employee schedules and maximize participation. Upon successful completion of the course, participants earned their OSHA 10 General Industry credential, strengthening their knowledge of workplace safety standards and hazard recognition.

Instruction for the training was led by ANC Solutions Group instructor Adron Poole, who guided participants through both classroom theory and hands-on training activities. The course covered critical OSHA topics designed to help employees identify, prevent, and respond to workplace hazards commonly found in industrial environments.

The partnership reflects the strong collaboration between ANC and regional industry leaders to provide workforce training opportunities that directly support employee safety, productivity, and professional growth throughout Mississippi County and Northeast Arkansas.

ANC would also like to recognize and thank the Great River Economic Development Foundation for funding 50% of the total cost of the training. Their continued investment in workforce development initiatives helps local companies access high-quality training opportunities while supporting the growth and retention of a skilled workforce in the region.

ANC appreciates the opportunity to work with Merrill Steel and looks forward to continuing partnerships that strengthen workforce development and safety training across the region.
