D&L Inc completed an Automotive HVAC training with ANC instructor, Mike Street. Training consisted of building an automotive HVAC system, charging the coolant, and running troubleshooting techniques. After successful completion of the training, individuals were prepared to take the EPA 608 Automotive Certification as well as be able to service D&L's transportation.
ANC instructor, Rick Sones completed 60 hours of basic industrial HVAC training for D&L from October through December 2021. This training consisted of electricity, fundamentals of heating/air-conditioning and ventilation as well as troubleshooting techniques. D&L is embarking on training their new and existing staff in order to reduce a skills gap in a short timeframe. This training will be completed for an apprentice so they're able to get started on servicing hvac systems in the industry. After successful completion of this training, individuals received a set of digital gauges.
Thank you Great River Economic Development Foundation and Office of Skills development for reimbursing 100% of the total cost of training to D&L.
