Arkansas Northeastern College, The Solutions Group and
TenarisUniversity partnered to provide 15 Tenaris’ employees with 40 hours of
Emergency Medical Responder Training.
Half of this training was provided onsite at Tenaris in their new
training facility for theory based lecture and the other half was at Arkansas
Northeastern College’s, Allied Health building at the Main Campus. Instructor
Lynn Sikes stated: “The participants were really motivated and engaged. They
loved the simulated activities such as the First Aid/CPR and the ambulance
simulation.”
After successful completion of the 40 hours, the students will
receive a Certificate of Completion from ANC – The Solutions Group and a
First/Aid CPR Card. Some of the topics that were covered included:

First Aid/CPR

Introduction to Trauma
·
Splinting Techniques
·
Wounds lecture and lab
·
Focused Spine Assessment
AND MANY MORE!
The participants enjoyed their last day of training by
practicing an Air – Evac simulation. We want to thank all of the individuals
who made this training possible and we look forward to trainings in the future.
