Arkansas Northeastern College is proud to welcome Jody Woodard as our newest HVAC Instructor. With a strong background in mechanical systems and years of hands-on experience, Jody brings a wealth of industry knowledge, instructional talent, and entrepreneurial spirit to our campus and community.
Jody will lead HVAC instruction at the ANC Tech Center, preparing high school students for rewarding careers in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning. In addition to working with secondary students, he will support workforce development through industry training and serve as the program champion and instructor in ANC’s Allied Technologies HVAC Technical Certificate, Certificate of Proficiency, and Associates Degree programs, helping adult learners and working professionals gain the skills they need to advance.
Jody’s extensive experience includes nearly two decades with BNSF Railway, where he served as a Train Dispatcher and led safety and new-hire training. He also owns and operates his own HVAC business and holds multiple industry credentials, including HVACR Class B, EPA Universal, A2L Safety Certification, Fall Protection, Class A CDL, and a General Contractor license. His expertise spans electrical, welding, plumbing, carpentry, and heavy equipment operation—making him an exceptional instructor for hands-on technical training.
Jody has hit the ground running and recently met with Mr. Tom Hunt, Executive Director of the Arkansas HVACR Association, and is eager to foster valuable relationships to benefit our students. These partnerships will help ensure ANC’s HVAC program remains aligned with current industry demands, creating enhanced opportunities for both students and employers. We extend a heartfelt thank-you to Mr. Hunt for his generous support in equipping our upcoming class with state-of-the-art tools—essential resources that will prepare our students for real-world success as HVAC technicians.
Please join us in welcoming Jody Woodard to the ANC family. We are excited about the leadership, knowledge, and passion he brings to our growing HVAC programs in Mississippi County.
