Computer Aided Drafting has been an emerging training program over the
last year at The Solutions Group. We have had several classes and
several students have been trained. We use AutoDesk 2015 products.
Nucor Hickman has recently completed 28 hours of AutoCAD 2015 Electrical with Adjunct Instructor, Adam Cooper. Fourteen employees from NSAR trained at the Crisp Center for 28 hours on AutoCAD Electrical in order to establish a foundation for their Electrical department to recreate and create new drawings.
The employees were engaged with interactive assignments and projects that they had to work on throughout the class. Adam shared his knowledge about the variety of companies that he's worked at and their layouts of different drafting departments he's worked in.
Before the AutoCAD Electrical training, NSAR completed 12 hours of AutoCAD training to learn a good solid foundation. They have received a total of 40 hours. This training was a big success thanks to everyone involved it definitely left NSAR wanting more! So TSG will be conducting follow up sessions preferably online for these employees.
