Our internships with Denso, Kagome, Nucor-Yamato Steel and Nucor-Hickman offer you the opportunity to work up to 24 hours per week (paid) during the school year with assigned work responsibility, while earning your Associate of Applied Science degree here at ANC. Students rotate departments to get exposure to different functions of the plant. The internship program is structured for two year completion. Upon successful completion, the student earns an Associate of Applied Science degree and has demonstrated work experience with participating companies.

We offer two year degrees in the following areas: Advanced Manufacturing, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration, Aviation Maintenance, Steel Industry Technology, and Welding. Internships allow students the opportunity to apply their knowledge and skills in a professional setting while still obtaining an education at college as well. Internships offer carefully planned and monitored work experience allowing students to gain additional knowledge from on-the-job training/exposure. Interns can bring new ideas and viewpoints to a company, energize a workplace with their enthusiasm and desire to learn, and so much more.
