Congratulations to the third cycle graduates of the Material Handling
training
offered at Arkansas Northeastern College Burdette Center. There were 13 graduates who received certificates of
completion with certification/qualification in the following: OSHA 10 Hour Construction/CPR/First
Aid, Conducting a Hazard Analysis/Workplace Etiquette, Class IV Lift
Truck/Class V Lift Truck/Class VII Lift Truck, Elevated Work
Platform/Scissorlift, Mini Excavator/Bobcat, Remote/Pendant Overhead
Cranes, and Rigging Awareness/Fall Protection/Personal Protective
Equipment (PPE).
The class was able to operate heavy equipment at local industries and at the Burdette Center. The training is taught by Jim Shephard, President-Industrial Training Systems, Inc./Material Handling Instructor. The program is free to the public, is four weeks in duration, and offers excellent job training skills for industry employment.
