NEW CLIENT! Arkansas Steel Processing

Arkansas Steel Processing, an affiliate to Steel Warehouse in Memphis, TN has located in Osceola, AR.  This company is a full line service center providing quality flat rolled products to customers in the South East, Mid-South and South Western United States. Arkansas Steel Processing has the capabilities to Slit coils from 20 GA through ½” in thickness and up to 72” in width. If flatness and the elimination of coil memory are needed, we can Temper Pass Cut to Length flat rolled steel from 10 gauge through ¾” and up to 96” in width. A very interesting process!

The Solutions Group staff, Plant Manager - Mike Jewell, and  Human Resource Manager - Amy Nieto planned a training program to train their new employees. This training began July 1st and lasted through August 10th. This training utilized grant funding through Great River Economic Development Foundation and Existing Workforce Training Program grant money to provide training for a total of 12 employees. Once all grants are approved approximately 75% of the total cost of training will be funded, leaving 25% to be paid for by Arkansas Steel Processing. 

The Solutions Group staff provided 112 clock hours of training in the following topics:

The majority of the training was completed onsite at Arkansas Steel Processing. Their facility is brand new and is currently being built. What better way to break in a new building with training from The Solutions Group!?

Arkansas Steel Processing has already hired Material Handling Program graduates and has interviewed several W.O.R.K. Graduates. ASP also attended the ANC Job fair and found some of their new employees.
