The 30-hour General Industry Outreach Training Program is intended to provide a variety of training to workers who have some safety responsibility. Training should emphasize hazard identification, avoidance, control and prevention, not OSHA standards. Instructional time must be a minimum of 30 hours. Upon successful completion these participants received an OSHA 30 card for General Industry and the opportunity to receive Prior Learning Experience (3 hours college credit) for Industrial safety if they were enrolled in a degree plan at Arkansas Northeastern College.
Great River Economic Development Foundation funded a portion of the total cost of training. Thank you Viskase, SAU Tech and GREDF. We look forward to working together again!
