The Solutions Group
provides American Welding Society Welding Qualifications
The Solutions Group and ABC Construction formed a
partnership when the Certificate of Proficiency in Construction Technology
program first started in 2015. ABC Construction reached out to Instructor Brent
Carroll, who is a Certified Welding Inspector, to provide American Welding
Society Welding qualifications to two employees at ABC Construction. AWS is a
Nationally Recognized welding qualification. ABC Construction employees tested
on March 6th, 2017. For more information, visit aws.org.
Nucor Hickman has also sent several employees to test and
receive AWS welding qualifications. These qualifications are good for six
months and if the current employer keeps records of their work on that
employee, the qualification is good indefinitely. Nucor Hickman employees
tested on January 20th.
