Training Partnership between The Solutions Group & United Rentals

The Solutions Group partners with various industry professionals, training professionals, and

companies who also provide training to industry. We are very excited to have United Rentals as such a great partner. With this partnership, The Solutions Group is able to provide training to local industries in heavy equipment. Gary Barth, who is The Solutions Group “GO-TO” heavy equipment trainer has trained approximately 160 operators in various heavy equipment over the past few years.

We have completed training in the following areas:

• ·         Aerial Boom Lift
• ·         Scissor Lift
• ·         Counterbalance Forklift
• ·         Rough Terrain Forklift 
• ·        Front End Loader
• ·         Skid Steer

Train the trainer courses are also offered in some of these areas. Our current participating customers are Plum Point Energy in Osceola (NRG), TenarisHickman, and Tenaris Houston.

Through United Rentals we are able to give classroom and hands-on operator training in the same day while utilizing United Rental’s equipment. It’s a team approach with the company scheduling the training with Arkansas Northeastern College, The Solutions Group staff taking care of the grant work and other administrative tasks and United Rentals providing a trainer, proceeding with the paperwork, and issuing training records once the training is completed. 

A recent area of expansion is Cranes and Rigging. We are able to partner with United Rentals to provide crane training to industry. Grant assistance may apply for qualifying companies for any heavy equipment training.  

United Rentals was also a supportive partner in our Material Handling program.
