Matt Frias has joined the Allied Technologies division as a welding instructor. Mr. Frias was hired in June 2017 and he comes with 20+ years of welding experience.
Having such a great wealth of knowledge in the industry, he can tailor the welding program to best meet the industry need while also fitting the diverse age group of students he teaches. Mr. Frias assists with the ANC Technical Center and the high school classes, these classes are presented in a way to ensure that students will master the skills not only obtain a welding job, but the skills to keep a job.
From the collegiate side, his maintains a vision that the individuals gain the skills to become employable and succeed at a welding profession as well. Mr. Frias has worked diligently over the summer with Mr. Brent Carroll and others to clean and organize the welding shop in Burdette.
