The Solutions Group partnered with the
Greater Memphis Alliance for a Competitive Workforce to provide DISC (dominance, inducement, submission, and
compliance) Assessments for employees of IPSCO during March and April.
Instructor John Churchill facilitated the personality assessment among three
different groups of employees: supervisors, lead, and future leaders. The
assessments were conducted to help employees better understand their own
personalities and the personalities of others so that they can improve
communication and teamwork. The sessions offered advice on how to apply DISC
skills in any environment. This training was paid in part (75%) by Great River Economic Development Foundation and Office of Skills Development.
