Stacey Walker named Director of Industrial Training

 

Stacey Walker named Director of Industrial Training FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:  August 7, 2018 Arkansas Northeastern College-Marketing   Blytheville (Ark.) – Arkansas Northeastern College would like to congratulate Stacey Walker on her recent promotion to Director of Industrial Training. In her new role, Stacey will be focusing on the coordination of client-initiated, custom-designed training in a wide variety of workplace disciplines. She will also assist instructors in developing curriculum to meet customer/student needs, writing federal, state, local, and private training grants, and conducting needs assessment for local employers. In addition to her many other duties, Stacey will also serve as the Arkansas Steelmaking Academy training coordinator and will assist the Vice President for Workforce Development in pricing strategies for training, consultation services, and course scheduling.   “I am looking forward to expanding our training opportunities to businesses and industries not only in our area but in partnership with other colleges and other service areas. We are fortunate to have such a great team of instructors and staff that allows us to be one of the best workforce training divisions in the state,” says Walker.
