Last
year, ANC Celebrated Manufacturing day on October 6th, 2017, and has
been fortunate to have received great support from the HAAS Foundation. HAAS
Manufacturing sponsored five, $500 scholarships for Allied Technologies
students majoring in the manufacturing field such as Steel Industry Technology and
Advanced Manufacturing. Seth Wyatt, Jerry Marshall, Devon Payne, James Foster,
and Samuel Spurlin all received scholarships.
As
a part of Manufacturing Day, the Allied Technologies division held an Advanced
Manufacturing Advisory Committee meeting with local industry professionals.
Other manufacturing day events were provide by the ANC Technical Center.
