ANC Hosted Intermediate Rigging training for NYS

ANC Partnered with Industrial Training International to provide approximately 40 Nucor Yamato Steel employees Intermediate Rigging training. The training was three days with one day of lecture and documentation and the other two days of practical hands on rigging training at Nucor Yamato Steel. The topics covered were: gear inspection, load weight calculation, sling selection, center of gravity calculation, and loading and moving procedures. The training was paid 100% by Great River Economic Development Foundation Grant and Office of Skills Development Grant. After successful completion of the exams the participants received a “qualified rigger” designation from Industrial Training International (www.iti.com) [iti.com)].
