Group Industrial Technologies instructor, Rob Semmel provided a leadership
training to approximately 30 Mississippi County EOC employees. Participants in
this training were in leadership roles or being trained to assume leadership
roles in the future. The training began January 2019 and went through May 2019.
The training consisted of: leadership skills, essential communication skills,
getting the most from your team, coaching for success, time management and
continuous improvement. This group was also involved in Arkansas Northeastern
College’s strategic planning initiative as a stakeholder group and provided
feedback to the college in order for ANC to develop the 5 year strategic
plan. Participants of this training earned 27 hours towards Continuing Education.
