The Solutions Group trained Mississippi County EOC in basic electricity and plumbing. Training started April 30th and ended May 21st, 2019. This training provided an understanding of how electricity works in commercial and industrial settings. It included hands-on electrical skills improvement and is designed to train maintenance technicians and other non-electrical personnel working in industrial plants and commercial buildings. It was a great refresher course for experienced maintenance workers at EOC. The training also included basic principles of plumbing and drain systems are that water enters plumbing pipes under pressure. The participants were able to learn classroom theory and then go into the lab to run electrical wiring and wire canned lights. The class consisted of eight individuals and was taught by Master Electrician & ANC Construction Technology Instructor, Josh Chipman.
