ANC Solutions Group and Southworth have partnered for several years to train their upcoming and existing supervisors. In the past instructors have trained Southworth employees on conflict resolution, coaching and counseling, principles of supervision and supervisory techniques, leadership/teamwork and teambuilding, personality assessments, personal finance, and presentation skills. Southworth came to us with a need to develop critical thinking and organizational management skills. This training was taught by Josh Chipman. Mr. Chipman developed this class with the focus around how individuals make decisions. This training was 40 hours total with 13 supervisors, lead, and upcoming supervisors attending. The participants worked through case studies, developed a shift schedule, and had detailed discussion about organizational change. Office of Skills Development and Great River Economic Development Foundation grant funded 75% of the total cost of training. Thank you all partners involved!
