Plum Point Energy (NRG) in Osceola, completed a tremendous task of training all of their employees in First Aid and CPR. There were approximately 75 individuals who attended the training that took place in August, 2019. Training was 4 hours long for 10 sessions and after successful completion of the course the employees had their American Heart Association First Aid CPR and AED Certification. As part of their training included the instructors gave specific scenarios that allowed the group to practice “real-world” simulations for first aid/cpr. This training was provided by Solutions Group instructors, Donna Razer, Josh Chipman, Steve Crosskno, Tamatha Dudley, Michael Smith, Todd Collums, Dana Jackson, and Lynn Sikes. This was a group effort on behalf of Ryan Thompson/NRG, ANC Solutions Group, instructors, and Great River Economic Development Foundation who sponsored 25% of the total cost of training through their workforce/economic development grant funds.
Thank you everyone involved!
