OSHA 30 training was conducted by Scott Follett, Brent Carroll, and Rob Semmel at the ANC Center for Allied Technologies for a group of individuals from Viskase and Omnium during the week of August 26th. After successful completion of the course 7 individuals received their nationally recognized OSHA 30 for General Industry card. This training included topics for hazardous materials, slips/trips/falls, bloodborne pathogens, and other OSHA required topics. The group also did a mock OSHA audit at the Center for Allied Technologies. Great River Economic Development Foundation funded 25% of the total cost of training for these two companies.
