ANC Solutions Group, Big River Steel, and Tristate partnered to train approximately 30 Big River Steel employees Safety Distributed Engineering with Siemens PLC trainers and S7 engineering in July and August 2020. Training took place at the ANC Osceola Campus. This training was 100% reimbursed to Big River Steel by the Office of Skills Development and Great River Economic Development Foundation. After successful completion of the 80 hours, the electrical employees at Big River Steel were able to take their hands-on training experience and certification to utilize it at the company.
