On March 15th, approximately 50 Kennett High School seniors and juniors came to ANC for a tour of the Allied Tech Building. We started the tour with a brief welcome and two informative videos about ANC and The Allied Tech Building from the ANC website. The students were given bags with information about the different programs we offered at ANC, why they should choose ANC, and much more. Once we finished the welcome, we traveled to the Aviation Department. Mr. Greg Smith, was kind enough to give the students an in-depth overview of the department and vital information. From there we went to the Welding Department. Several students were able to do hands-on activities. Finally, we went to the Construction Department. During the walk to each department, the students were given a brief overview of the areas in passing and ANC as a whole. Kennett High enjoyed themselves and stated that they would definitely be back!
