ANC Allied Technologies Heating/Air Conditioning and Ventilation Instructor, Rick Sones, trained 8 D&L Employees on Industrial HVAC Systems. The course was approximately 50-60 hours for two sections. The training took place from January through April 2022. After successful completion, they earned a Certificate Completion in Industrial HVAC. Topics covered in this training were:
- EPA 608 Universal Refrigerant License
- Troubleshooting techniques
- Fundamentals of HVAC Systems
- Electrical Components and Motors
- Schematics
Director of Industrial Training, Stacey Walker, wrote two workforce training grants that paid 100% of the total cost of training between the Great River Economic Development Foundation and Office of Skills Development. After successful completion of this training, individuals were able to take the EPA 608 certification exam. Thank you D&L, GREDF, & OSD for your support in training our local workforce.
