BRS donates equipment for Steel Industry Technology Program

Big River Steel donated a Lapmaster Compumet Polisher (SEM Lab) and a  Lapmaster RollGrinder RG500 5-Station (SEM Lab) to aid in the curriculum design and development for the Associate of Applied Science in Steel Industry Technology Program. Mr. Semmel, Solutions Group Industrial Technology Instructor, has begun making additions to the courses to incorporate the usage of this equipment.  Special thanks to Big River Steel for the generous donation, our students will benefit tremendously. The equipment will give real-world steel equipment experience to our students.
