Solutions Group, Dean for Customized training, Stacey Walker designed and taught a customized Excel Part 1 and Part 2 training session for Nucor Steel Arkansas. Approximately 40 students were trained in both excel 1 and 2. Instructor Pacey Bowens and Instructor Rosemary Lowe taught most of the sessions in April and June. The custom excel training covered topics such as:

- Functions and Formulas
- Pivot Tables
- Charts/Graphs
- Analyzing Data
- Pivot Charts
- Slicers
- Shortcuts
- Look up & database functions
- Comprehensive Projects
Special thanks to Office of Skills Development ad Great River Economic Development Foundation for help supporting a portion of this training cost. After successful completion, participants received a certificate of completion for Excel Part 1 and Part 2 for 10 hours in each session. Their training will be valued at Nucor and allow them to be more effective in their day-to-day management with spreadsheets.
