For the last week and a half, ANC Solutions Group has had the privilege to work with Northeast Arkansas Community Corrections Center to help a group of men possibly gain a MIG welding certification, meeting Arkansas Welding Society qualifications. Participants worked a total of 40 hours of learning and hands on work.
The course instructors, Austin Coleman and Ibrahim Alisic, worked through with the participants to ensure they are learning and to try to meet the qualifications to gain this certification. At the end of the week, Southworth Products came and spoke with the group about possible job opportunities in the future.
Two of the residents from NEACCC successfully gained a AWS MIG welding qualification! ANC Solutions Group is thankful for the opportunity better the future of everyone.
Training was funded by the ANC Adult Education department.
